I was attracted to this particular tree (sculpture) at the Chiang Mai Zoo. It has beautiful and intricate carvings that tells a story. If we had all day, I could have just stood in front of the sculpture, admired its beauty and study every detail. But the kids were tired and we were in a hurry to go back home because it was starting to drizzle. So sadly, I just hurriedly took a photo of it and went away.
I love how the artist has use the dead tree as a medium for his/her work of art. I wonder if there are other art pieces like that. I'm sure it'll go well in a house with rustic wood furniture . If only I could bring back home a piece of work as beautiful and as intricate as that. :)
