Finishing my Tasks

It's already 12 o'clock a.m and my head is already aching. I've been writing posts since the afternoon and I've got to finish a couple of tasks before I can sleep. I want to be 'free' tomorrow and just prepare myself for our trip to Myanmar. I think, I still haven't fully rested ( physically) for we've been traveling to and fro. I hope I could get some rest tomorrow so, I'll be recharged for our trip on Wednesday. I'm praying for good health, protection and God's strength and grace for the days to come.

The Collection

I was just browsing through a website with a collection of rare coins. This reminded me of my my stamp collection since I was in my elementary. If I'm not mistaken, my stamp albums were placed where our photo albums were kept in our house in the Philippines. If that's the case, then I guess my stamp albums must have also been destroyed from the flood last January. Tsk, tsk, tsk.. Some of those stamps were very old and has been my father's collection too. It's too bad, everything is destroyed now.

Anyways, back to the collection of rare coins, the site that I just visited has the finest rare coin values in the world. It's called Monaco Rare Coins, a part of the Monex family of companies, a trusted leader in precious metals investments for nearly 40 years. So, if you're a serious investor in rare coins, then better check out this site.

The Swing

" I miss the swing in Granny's house!", Tricia suddenly blurted out after being silent for a long time. I knew she was thinking deeply about something and now I know what she was thinking about- our house in the Philippines. She has been here in Malaysia for many days now and I believe she has already adjusted quite well as I noticed that she's already her normal self - bubbly, talkative and happy. But then, I guess she still can't help but think about her time in the Philippines.

The Hammock, which she fondly calls the "Swing" is actually her favorite place in the house. This is the first place she'll go right after she wakes up in the morning. She would always force me to do her devotion with her in the hammock but I always refuse because I'm afraid that it might give way because of my weight. :)

Anyways, because she misses the Hammock so much, we promised her that we'll get one for her here in Taiping or in Hatyai. I'm not sure though if we could find one.

Can I Play the Computer?

There's a new hobby added to my Li'l girl's list now and that includes playing games in the computer. I never taught her how to use the computer before because of the fear that she might get addicted to it or maybe then I'd have a 'competition' with the use of the computer. Hehehe! But anyhow, she learned how to play games in the computer in her Granny's house as she observed from her cousins in the Philippines. When asked what she missed about Granny, she even said, " I miss Granny letting me watch cartoons and letting me play in the computer" Hehehe!
Anyways, she can't play as much now ( for obvious reasons :) but then during the times I let her play some games, I let her go to the Disney site or some educational games. I'm sure she'll get contented with these games and won't ask me for an xbox 360 in the future.

Oh My Toe!

I don't know what to do now. My big toe on my right foot is swollen because of 'in grown nail'. Last week, before I came to Malaysia my sister gave me a facial and pedicure. I really enjoyed that time with her. But when it was time for my pedicure, I could still remember my Mom telling us not to cut my toe nails so short and remove the cuticles because I might suffer later on. But, as we were so engrossed with our chit chat and make over that we didn't listen to her. Now, my big toe is very painful and it's too late to regret that we should have taken heed of what my mom said. Hehehe!

What to do now? I'm already so scared to touch the toe and much less meddle with it. It's really very painful now. HUhuhuhuh!!!

Visa Problems

We had some visa problems for our trip next week but thank God everything is sorted out now and they have already given us a ( 14 day ) visa to enter the country. Yesterday, when our friend called us up and told us of our visa problems, I was already thinking that if they don't give us one, then the money we spent for our airfare with international travel insurance will surely be a waste. But then again, before I dwelled much on those thoughts, I stopped and prayed for God's favor upon us. And indeed, God answered our prayers. Thank You Lord!
We're really praying much for our trip next week. It'll be our first time (except for my Hubby) to go to that country and it'll surely be a busy trip doing some training and teaching.

In the Internet Cafe

We still don't have internect connection in our house. We will only be connected next month since we will only be staying here in Tiaping for a few days. It's quite difficult not to have an internet connection because then I have to come to the cafe everyday and only for an hour. I'm sure I have already missed a lot of 'opportunities'. Hopefully, I can make it up once we have a broadband connection.

Hot and Humid Day

It's a hot and humid day today here in Klang. Every now and then, you would hear someone complain, " it's so warm".

With this kind of weather, it makes me wish that I'm in the lanai of our house in Balulang feeling the fresh wind from the trees and the river or maybe I'd be in Chowking or Dear Manok, sumptuously eating their famous Halo-halo.. haaaay.. speaking of Halo halo, I'm reminded of my food trips back in the Philippines where I would be constantly be thinking about food and what to eat for snacks and etc. That surely explains why I've gained so much of weight! Would I take a weight loss pills to take off the extra weight? No, I don't think so, I think I'll just have to get back to proper diet and exercise. But the question remains, 'when'? Hmm.. that I do not know. ;)

PR Lost!

I actually quite expected it but I'm not really so sad about it. Yes, I'm talking about the lost of my pagerank for this blog. I actually came to know about it when my cousin, Bogie sent me and offline in YM. This blog has been a PR1 for many months now but now since I'm loyal to a company that gives opportunities whether or not your blog has PR or not, then losing it doesn't make much difference in terms of opportunities.

But, I just hope and pray that the PR for my travel blog will remain the same. That blog has more opportunities from a company that puts great value on high PRs.

Anyways, let our blogging career continue. :)

Bye Bye Cagayan de Oro!

The day finally came for us to say good bye to Cagayan de Oro. We boarded the 10:20 am flight this morning with tears and sadness. Haaayyy... I've been home for 6 months while my Hubby stayed for 4 months. I truly enjoyed every minute of my stay in our hometown, maybe except for our flood experience. But it was really great to be home, be with family, rest and eat a lot! As expected, I've gained so much of weight because I had a big appetite for 6 months. I should have taken appetite suppressants so as not to grow as big as I am now. Hehe!

So, now we are in Clark and be staying here for the night while waiting for our flight to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow. Our Li'l girl is still missing her cousins and kept talking about them the whole day. I hope that she'll feel better tomorrow especially when she see her 3 Attais in Klang.

We'll have to say good bye to the Philippines tomorrow.. ..We hope to be back here soon!

Birthday Girl

Nope.. it's not Dora who just had a birthday party last Saturday but my Li'l Trish. Tricia specifically chose Dora the Explorer as her party mascot even if I tried to convince her otherwise. I personally didn't like how the the Dora mascot looked like, but what to do, she really wanted Dora so I had to concede.

Last Saturday's party was indeed a 'dream come true' party for little Trish. She had invited all her friends, mostly from the church, had everything Dora ( from plates to party bags) and had great fun. I'm glad that we've decided to have her party here in the Philippines, even if it meant 'moving' her birthday a month earlier. One blessing to hold kiddie parties here in the Philippines is that you can buy party stuff for a very cheap price and not to mention you have a variety of cartoon characters to choose from.

So, we truly had a very happy birthday girl... and now she wants to celebrate all her future birthdays here in the Philippines.. uh..oh..

Of Delayed Telecast and Our Trip

I haven't updated my blogs for several days now it's either I'm too busy or I'm not that motivated to blog anymore.

But I sure have a lot of stories to tell and pictures to show. Maybe I'll just have to wait till we get back to Malaysia, get settled a bit and maybe then, I'll be in the mood to write a lot of things.

We're leaving Cagayan de Oro tomorrow and be flying to Malaysia on Tuesday. I'm glad that we were able to book our plane tickets earlier because this week ( specifically tomorrow) is actually the peak for all the flights. The long holiday ( Holy Week) has just ended and everyone is in a hurry to go back to work. I'm sure our flight is fully booked to Manila tomorrow. I'm quite contented with the airline we booked. They're not just cheap but they've got great planes too. I'm sure their planes parts and backshells and smart and tough. M85049 Backshells used for the military and aerospace are known to be very high quality.

Anyways, I'm praying that our family will have a safe and hassle-free trip to Manila ( then Pampanga) tomorrow. God bless our trip!

An Advance Birthday Party

We will be celebrating our daughter's birthday very early this year. Her birthday is supposed to be on May 8, but then we thought of hosting her party before we leave to Malaysia. So, we will be having her birthday party this coming Saturday.

She's so excited about her party because it's actually her first time to celebrate it in the Philippines with her cousins. She had her 1st, 2nd and 4th Birthday in Thailand while her 3rd birthday was in Malaysia.

So, I already did some preparations and bought almost everything needed for her party. Her Party theme is Dora the Explorer, so everything will be Dora this coming Saturday from her plates, cups, cake decorations, party bags and etc.

I even think Tricia looks a lot like Dora now especially with her fringes and long hair. I just have to make her chubbier and woolahh we've got Dora the Explorer for a daughter. LOL!

Mesothelioma Help

Do you know anyone with Mesothelioma?

Mesothelioma is an asbestos caused cancer of the serous membranes that surround many of the body’s vital organs. These membranes, known as mesothelium, secrete a lubricating fluid that provide an easy movement of the organs within the body.

There is this great website which offers every information on treatment, symptoms and support about this disease. This will indeed be a very helpful site everyone for who is affected with the disease. Be encouraged and be informed.

Jacuzzis in the River

Last week, my Hubby and daughter experienced soaking on a natural jacuzzi in the river. These 'jacuzzis' have been built by some of the children who lives near our area. It's a great place for the small kids to swim and have fun!

I'll have to take a dip in the river this week before we go back to Malaysia- that's my aim. I haven't tried bathing in this river every since we came.

Oh, I'll truly miss the sight and sound of this beautiful river. :(

Keyboard Problem

While I was using my hubby's laptop this morning, I didn't realize when my li'l boy came and touched some keys on the keyboard. My Hubby told me that when certain keys keys are pressed at the same time, you're computer can be locked. Good thing that his laptop wasn't locked when our li'l boy pressed some keys but then it was surprising to see that the letter 'p' becomes an
'*' when pressed. Then the other letters also becomes a number. Only then I realized that the keyboard was working on the 'function' mode. And I didn't know how to unlock it. Uh , oh!

I tried to search in google the 'secret' in unlocking the keyboards but couldn't find it. My Hubby tried and finally he was able to unlock the keyboards. Whew!! That proves that I'm still an amatuer in all these computer things.

I still need a lot of help on many computer programs and stuff. Maybe I would even need to get a File Extension Mov to open some .mov programs. I really get dismayed when everytime I want to open a certain file and I get this message: "What program would you like to use to open this program?". Then somehow I get stuck. I heard that File Extension Mov will be able to open all the movies files. Wouldn't it be great to have a File Extension Mov? Maybe you might also need one.

New Recruits

If paid blogging is a multi level marketing career, then maybe I've already got lots of commissions from my new recruits. :) It's either I'm very good in convincing people to blog or the 'fruits' of my labor speak it all. I'm sure it's the latter one.

But anyways, I was so surprised when my sis told me last week that I would have to teach her and my Mom some blogging basics. At first, I thought that they were not serious about it but when they sat down with me in front of the computer with their pen and paper ready then I found out that they really were serious. So, yesterday was our first session and taught them first how to create a Blogger Account and create a post. My sis has already created her blog but I would have to announce the URL later as she's still building on it.

I could just remember a friend of mine who suggested that I do a 'blogging' seminar before I go. Hehehehe! I guess, I'll have to consider that once, I'll have more and more recruits. Hehehe! Just kidding!

But for those who are curious about starting this paid blogging thing.. then, you can check out these links.

What's Your True Age?

I just took the "True Age Test" in Facebook. This test actually determines the age of your body based on social, environmental, and lifestyle factors. I'm not really so sure how accurate the results are, but I'm not quite surprised with my result.

So, based on the test I did, my True Age is 23. Ha! That must be the reason why it seems like I stopped counting my age after I reach 23 years old. True! That's why when people ask me of my age, my mind would naturally 'answer' 23 so, I had to think harder before I can tell my real age.

Anyways, I just hope my age will turn back and stay 23 years old, but the reality is, we can't stop getting older ( and fatter) day by day. Many people would opt to buy the best wrinkle cream to stop the signs of aging. They can actually find out a lot wrinkle cream reviews at www.wrinklebest.com. It has reviews of more than 20 wrinkle creams. What's good about this site is that the reviews are based on the consumers' real experiences and their site is easy to navigate.

But on the other hand, getting old is good. It means we have more experiences, more wisdom and longer life here on earth. Thank GOd for it!

Future Fashion Designer?

My Li'l girl just loves to draw. I could still remember how she learned to draw the stick figures at the age of 3.. and now, that she's almost 5 years old, her drawings have developed into cartoonlike figures. But what amazes me with her human drawings now , are the details she puts in to it. She would never fail to draw earrings, rings and other accessories on her 'princess drawings'. Each drawing will also have different dresses. She doesn't copy from anywhere but she 'designs' her princesses' dresses on her own.

Take a look at what she drew last night while we were attending a function at Grand Caprice. It's like an Egyptian inspired dress huh? So, maybethen she'll be a future fashion designer.
