Of Floods and Home Insurance

As I was hearing the news today, many people here in Cagayan de Oro City have left their homes as flood waters rose by an unparalleled degree, causing untold damage to their homes. I still haven’t heard of people who are missing due to this catastrophe but I’m thankful that God is in control in this situation. I thank God for giving us a safe place to stay while we are still waiting for the water to go down.As I was thinking about my experience, I’m reminded to consider home insurance as the effects of this unpredicted disaster is of no comfort especially to those people who are unable to replace their lost and damaged on their houses. Our home is still newly renovated but I guess we don’t have home insurance for this year. I would probably ask my mom about it. But before having it, an insurance quote from different insurance companies would be the first thing to consider.
